PRO-TACTS TACTICAL SIDEWALL SYSTEM
Pro-Tacts™ Ballistic Sidewall System is engineered to absorb and contain bullet impacts, eliminating the risk of ricochets and splatter from rounds striking the sidewalls. This advanced system allows shooters to safely advance downrange and engage targets from a full 270° range of fire, including cross-lane scenarios and multiple target drills. Pro-Tacts™ ensures maximum protection while enabling dynamic, real-world training environments.
BAFFLES
The design of your range determines the level of ballistic protection needed. Bar joist ceilings require “baffles” to create a “No Blue Sky” condition and keep rounds safely contained.
Bridged Baffles
Bridged baffles are installed between structural supports to form a continuous protective barrier across the ceiling of the range. This design effectively eliminates gaps, maintaining a consistent “No Blue Sky” condition and ensuring maximum containment of stray rounds. Bridged baffles are ideal for ranges requiring high levels of overhead protection and a streamlined, integrated look. When finished with Dura-Panel, they offer added strength and a refined, durable appearance.
Suspended Baffles
Suspended baffles are designed to hang from the ceiling structure, creating a physical barrier that helps contain stray rounds and maintain a “No Blue Sky” condition. Ideal for ranges with open truss or wood ceiling designs, these baffles provide essential overhead protection while allowing flexibility in placement and spacing. When faced with Dura-Panel, they also offer enhanced durability and a clean, professional appearance.

Light Guards
Range Systems’ Pro-Tacts™ Light Guards are ceiling-mounted protectors designed for ranges with concrete ceilings. Made from 3/8-inch AR500 steel and covered with 2-inch Dura-Panel™ ballistic rubber, they shield surface-mounted lights and utilities from errant rounds.

Safety Ceilings
The most critical area of a range is where the shooter stands. Range Systems’ safety ceilings suspend directly above the shooter. Safety ceilings are constructed of AR500 steel and faced with Dura-Panel™ ballistic rubber. All errant rounds and misfires will be safely defeated by the steel and encapsulated by the Dura-Panel™ eliminating ricochets and back splatter.

Sonex
SONEX Valueline Panels offer excellent acoustical control across all frequencies with a Noise Reduction Coefficient (NRC) ranging from 0.75 to 1.05. They are especially effective at absorbing excessive sound at the middle frequencies (500 and 1,000 Hz) where unwanted noise and reverberation can interfere with communication.
